Booking & our salons
Where are Salon 43 One’s locations?
We have two salons. 119 is at 6801 Cahaba Valley Road, Suite 120, Birmingham, AL 35242, on Highway 119 near Hoover. Stadium Trace is at 5872 Elsie Road, Hoover, AL 35244, near the Hoover Met. Our Alabaster salon opens in January 2027.
What are your hours?
Both salons are open Monday through Friday from 8am to 8pm and Saturday from 9am to 3pm. We are closed on Sunday.
How do I book an appointment?
Book online any time from our Locations & stylists page: choose your salon, then a stylist, or book the first stylist available. You can also call 205.968.1620.
Which stylist should I book with?
Every stylist at Salon 43 One is trained to take care of any guest, so you can book with anyone. If you are new, booking the first stylist available is the quickest way in.
Do some stylists not take online booking?
A few of our stylists book by phone only. If you don’t see a booking button for someone, call 205.968.1620 and our front desk will help.
Pricing & policies
How much does balayage cost at Salon 43 One?
Balayage starts at $148, and balayage with a root starts at $173. Your stylist confirms the final price before anything starts. See all services and starting prices.
How much is a women’s haircut?
A women’s haircut starts at $37, a men’s haircut at $23 and a shampoo and blowout at $42.
Are consultations free?
Yes. Color consultations and extension consultations are always free at both salons.
What is your cancellation policy?
A card is required to reserve color appointments. Please give 48 hours’ notice to cancel. Late cancellations are charged half the service price, and cancellations or no-shows within 24 hours are charged the full price.
What if I’m running late?
If you will be more than 15 minutes late, please call us at 205.968.1620 so we can adjust your appointment.
What if I’m not happy with my hair?
Let us know within 48 hours and we’ll schedule a complimentary correction with your stylist.
Can I return a product?
Products can be exchanged or returned for store credit within 10 days.
Color & extensions
What’s the difference between balayage and highlights?
Balayage is painted on by hand for a soft, blended grow-out. Highlights are placed in foils for brighter, more even lightness from root to end. At a free color consultation your stylist will help you choose.
What hair extensions do you use?
We use 43 One Hair, our own extension line: double-drawn, cuticle-intact hair in Genius Wefts, Flex Wefts, Tape-Ins and K-Tips, in more than 30 shades. Learn more at 43onehair.com.
How much do extensions cost?
Extension installs are quoted at a free consultation, because the price depends on the method and how much hair you need.
Do you offer keratin or smoothing treatments?
Yes. Keratin treatments start at $301 and Brazilian Blowout starts at $351.
Rewards & careers
Do you have a rewards program?
Yes. You earn 1 point per $1 on services and 2 points per $1 on products, and you can redeem points for haircuts, blowouts, add-ons and product discounts. See the rewards program.
How do I earn double points?
Pre-book your next visit within 24 hours of your appointment. The extra points are awarded once that pre-booked appointment is completed.
