Born and raised in Hoover, Alabama, Kendall has always carried a love for community and connection, even as she moved around growing up. For the past six years, she has proudly called Salon 43 One home — growing as a stylist, serving incredible clients, and now stepping into a new role as co-owner alongside her husband. Together, she recently opened our Stadium Trace location right here in Hoover, and it’s been such a full-circle moment to invest back into the community that has shaped her. Kendall is passionate about creating beautiful hair, building lasting relationships, and serving the people around her with care and excellence. She also has a deep love for helping new stylists in the industry grow, mentoring them as they develop their skills and confidence to thrive behind the chair.

Courtney is a graduate of The University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Bachelors of Science in Management. She is always on the move and making sure things run smoothly for the clients and stylists. One of her passions is helping others achieve their full potential. She loves serving others and always putting others before herself. Courtney loves her dog Tahvo and treats him like her own child. You can find Courtney working the front, making orders, doing budgets, or taking care of guests. She truly loves 43 One like her own!

Madison is a Montevallo, Alabama native and a graduate of Jacksonville State University, where she earned a degree in Business Marketing. After college, she joined the Salon 43 One team, completing her cosmetology apprenticeship in-house and gaining hands-on experience behind the chair. Over time, Madison transitioned from a stylist into her current role as full-time Salon Manager, where she now focuses on supporting the team, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring an exceptional experience for every guest. Madison is married to her high school sweetheart and enjoys Sundays at church, time with her dog, and serving the Salon 43 One community.

Kaylee loves getting to know her clients, and working with them to bring out their beauty. She has always known she wanted to be a hairstylist since a little girl growing up in McCalla, Alabama. Graduating from Paul Mitchell cosmetology school. She enjoys furthering her education in cosmetology by attending classes along the way. Kaylee pursues her career as a stylist, make up artist, and spray tan artist. She is certified in hair extension and would love to make your dream hair come to reality through custom coloring and extensions! Hope always had a love for hair and make up. She knew in high school that she wanted to pursue a career that would allow her to continue in her passion for beauty. After graduating, she went straight to Aveda Birmingham. While in cosmetology school, Hope began working for Salon 43 One as a guest services worker. She fell in love with the atmosphere immediately. Hope loves building relationships with her clients while getting to pursue her love for all things beauty.

Hi, I’m Selena! I’m originally from Guayaquil Ecuador, but I’ve spent most of my life here in Alabama. I’m currently a student at Paul Mitchell and on track to graduate early summer of 2026. Before following my passion for the beauty industry, I worked in property management for six years. While I learned a lot during that time, I always felt called to do something more creative and fulfilling. After lots of prayer and reflection, I truly believe God led me to cosmetology school and ultimately to Salon 43 One. I absolutely love the work I’m doing and the career I’m building. With God’s grace, I hope to continue learning, growing, and flourishing here at Salon 43 One.

Kaitie graduated from UAB in 2014 with a degree in business, however, after just a year in the business industry she decided that was not her calling. She immediately enrolled at Paul Mitchell Cosmetology School to pursue her passion. With 7 years in the industry, Kaitie brings both skill and heart to every appointment. A former cheerleader, she knows the value of hard work, energy, and showing up with a positive attitude. Kaitie loves creating lived-in, effortless looks that make her clients feel confident and beautiful. She’s just as passionate about her two kids as she is about doing hair, balancing motherhood and salon life with grace. Samantha, more commonly known as Sam, was born and raised in Georgia and moved to Alabama in 2021. She graduated college with a degree in Business Management in 2016, but couldn't ignore her passion for hair. She decided to quit her salary position and pursue her dreams in cosmetology in 2018. With years of experience behind the chair, Sam is a true master of her craft—especially when it comes to precision hair cutting and customized color. Known for her meticulous attention to detail and genuine care for her clients, Sam goes above and beyond to ensure everyone in her chair feels confident, seen, and completely taken care of. Outside the salon, Sam is a true crime enthusiast who loves a good mystery—whether she’s watching a documentary or tuning into her favorite podcast. She adores her two dogs, Nash and Gail (even if Gail keeps her on her toes), and is happily married to the love of her life. With baby Maggie on the way, Sam is embracing a new chapter while continuing to pour her heart into what she loves—making people feel beautiful. Rebekah was born and raised in Clanton, AL but later moved to Georgia where she began pursuing her dream of cosmetology. After giving birth to her baby girl Hayden she made her way back to Birmingham where she joined the Team at Salon 43 One. She enjoys working out and spending time with the Lord in her free time. Recently, she has taken over all aspects of education and apprenticeships for our salon where she guides and teaches all of our new stylists. Kenley, a native of Birmingham, Alabama has always had a passion for art, fashion and especially hair and the creative freedom it allows her. After graduating from the Aveda Institute in 2019 Kenley continues to expand her training to reflect the most current trends in women’s cuts and color, hand tied hair extensions, waxing and of course, men’s cuts. She went to UAB and joined a sorority (ALAM!) and shortly after let and studied at Aveda Institute to follow her passion for cosmetology. She is certified in 4 different extensions methods: Handtied, Tape-In, K-tip, and I-tip. She truly loves making connections with her clients and enjoys having everyone in her hair. As Parker grew up in Helena, Alabama she worked at Salon43one in high school then decided to attend cosmetology school in Auburn! Finally she is back after getting her associates degree as well as her cosmetology license and she is excited to make relationships with her upcoming clients. Originally from Athens, Alabama, Lily made her way to Birmingham to begin an exciting new chapter alongside her fiancé. Lily specializes in lived-in blondes and rich, dimensional brunettes, focusing on low-maintenance color that grows out beautifully while prioritizing the health and integrity of the hair. Known for her detail-oriented approach, she customizes every service to enhance her guests’ natural features and support their everyday lifestyle — delivering results that feel effortless yet elevated. Gracie grew up in Trussville, Alabama, and discovered her passion for hair early on. After graduating from Paul Mitchell, she pursued her dream career as a hairstylist, specializing in blonding. She loves helping her clients feel confident and radiant by creating customized, lived-in looks that highlight their natural beauty. Outside of the salon, Gracie is a self-proclaimed homebody who enjoys spending her downtime at the gym, relaxing with family and friends, and exploring her love of food (she’ll never turn down a good meal!). Her warm personality and eye for detail make every appointment not just about great hair, but a great experience.

With over 10 years behind the chair, Kari brings both skill and heart to every appointment. Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah of Venezuelan descent and bilingual. Kari built her career on one core belief: Hair is powerful. It isn’t just about how you look, it’s about how you feel. She specializes in dark lived-in color, dimensional blondes, and luxury blowouts that feel elevated, effortless, and confidence-boosting, all while prioritizing healthy hair and a deeply personalized experience. In the summer of 2025, Kari made a bold move to Alabama as a single mom to her year-old daughter, a decision rooted in growth, courage, and creating a beautiful life for them both. She understands firsthand how meaningful it is to pour into yourself, even while caring for everyone else. When she’s not in the salon, Kari loves soaking up quality time with her daughter, enjoying good coffee, and embracing a slower, more intentional pace of Southern living. She’s building beauty and community in Alabama and is excited to have you in her chair, where luxury meets comfort and confidence always comes first.
Gerelee Tillman

Gerelee was born and raised in Mongolia and has proudly called Alabama home for the past 14 years. She loves the people and the warmth of Southern culture. She is also a wife and mother of two and cherishes spending time with her family. Gerelee is graduating from Paul Mitchell School of Cosmetology and is excited to begin her career at Salon 43 One. Her passion has always been helping others feel confident and beautiful, and she looks forward to serving her clients with care, creativity, and a personal touch.
Alana
Apprentice
Alana has been part of the Salon 43 One family for three years and is currently apprenticing under our team of master stylists. She is a hard worker, incredibly easy to talk to, and known for her kind and humble spirit. She absolutely loves being in the salon and is passionate about growing in her craft. Alana is already amazing at blowouts, and she practices constantly because she’s determined to be one of the best. Her excitement, work ethic, and heart for people make her someone clients love to be around — and we can’t wait to watch her continue to shine.
Madelyn Byrne

Madelyn is originally from Daphne, AL, but moved to Birmingham after graduating from Auburn University with a degree in Exercise Science and is currently pursuing her Master of Nursing at UAB. She enjoys connecting with clients and coworkers, and brings a positive, approachable energy to every interaction. Outside of work, she loves Auburn sports, fashion, and spending time with her dog, Rufus.

Associate
Abbi was born and raised in Trussville and has had a lifelong passion for hair. From a young age, she knew this was the career she wanted to pursue. She specializes in blondes, lived-in color, and glosses to help every client feel their best. Abbi graduated from Body Logic School of Cosmetology in October 2025 and joined the Salon 43 One team just a week later. She looks forward to welcoming clients into her chair.

Skyler was born and raised in Alabama and is currently an apprentice under Rebekah Kirkland, where she is learning the art of hair and gaining hands-on experience each day. She is passionate about expanding her knowledge and continuing to grow behind the chair. One of her favorite parts of this career is seeing clients leave their appointments feeling more confident than when they arrived.

Shelby is a versatile stylist with a passion for all things hair – from color to cuts, and everything in between. After earning her Master Cosmetology License from Paul Mitchell in 2024, she’s honed her skills to create customized looks for every client. Known for her creativity, attention to detail, and going the extra mile, Shelby tailors each service to bring out the best in your hair. Her bubbly, easygoing personality makes every appointment feel relaxed and fun, ensuring you leave not just looking great, but feeling great too. Whether you're after a bold change or a simple refresh, Shelby’s goal is to make you feel confident and cared for. Outside of the salon, Shelby loves reading and traveling, drawing inspiration from both books and new places bringing that sense of curiosity and adventure into her work.

Addison is a hairstylist and proud graduate of the Aveda Institute, where she completed her cosmetology training in September 2025. Growing up in Columbiana, she has always been inspired by the charm of small towns and the confidence that comes from genuine self-expression. Her passion for hairstyling goes beyond technique—it’s about creating an experience that leaves guests feeling beautiful from the inside out. Addison believes that when someone feels seen, understood, and confident in their look, it reflects in everything they do. When she’s not working, she enjoys taking her dog, Sunny, on walks and spending time doing arts and crafts. She looks forward to welcoming clients into her chair and building lasting relationships.

Elena is one of the friendly faces you'll see when you walk into Salon 43 One! She is always welcoming guests with a smile and ensuring everything runs seamlessly from the front of the salon. Along with her role as receptionist, Elena assists stylists and is currently pursuing her cosmetology license through a trade school program. She plans to complete her hours as an apprentice here at Salon 43 One starting this fall, continuing to grow in the career she's passionate about. In her free time, Elena enjoys working with her own extension clients and continuing to refine her craft. She's an Auburn fan, loves shopping, traveling, and spending time with Jesus. With her warm personality, eye for beauty, and heart for people, Elena is an incredible part of the 43 One family, and she's so excited to keep growing her career right here where it all began!

Maddie joined the front desk team at 43 One after moving from Virginia and is currently pursuing a degree in Leadership. She enjoys welcoming guests, keeping things organized, and supporting the stylists so the salon can run smoothly. Her faith in Jesus and involvement in her church are meaningful parts of her life, and she strives to reflect that same kindness in how she treats others. Outside the salon, Maddie loves spending time with her husband, reading, and getting time in her Bible. She’s also a big dog lover. Maddie is grateful to be part of the 43 One team and to help create a warm, easy experience for everyone who walks through the door!

Addison grew up in Alabaster, Alabama, and is a proud graduate of Thompson High School. During her four years in color guard, she discovered her passion for beauty and self-expression, which inspired her to pursue a career in cosmetology. She is currently enrolled in the apprenticeship program under Kendall, where she is gaining hands-on experience and refining her skills while working toward earning her cosmetology license. In addition to her training, Addison also does pageant and event hair and makeup on the side, helping clients look and feel their absolute best for life’s most important moments.
